Welcome to the first entry in my new blog! (This blog replaces an old blog I used to write years ago, which is now defunct.)
As you can see, I haven’t yet decided on a name for my blog. I may just keep it as is, in all its generic simplicity, but more than likely I’ll try to come up with some sort of clever name. Perhaps something like jkwBlog (jkw=jimkellywriter, the name of the website) or jimbohemia or jimbalaya or JimType, or something.
If you have any suggestions, feel free to pass them along.
I’ll try to post on a fairly regular basis; the goings-on in my life, my musings on the world we live in, advice for the lovelorn, personal hygiene tips, hors d’oeuvre recipes, etc.

p.s. I should point out that I’m still learning some of the ins and outs of this WordPress software and I’m still working on some of the other pages on this site, so expect some missteps and tweaks as we go along.
p.p.s. Apparently if you want to leave a comment on a blog entry, you need to click on the title of the entry. That opens that entry’s page, and the comment section appears at the bottom.
